Conference interpreter at the “Curs Lenin: Lennin i el concepte d’estat”

Michael Brie is a social philosopher at the Institute for Critical Social Analysis of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Berlin. His research focuses on the theory and history of socialism, the socio-ecological transformation of modern societies and strategic questions of the left in the crisis of neoliberalism.

Silvia Palá interpreters have been at his lecture and debate on 13 June in which he spoke about the vision and application of the socialist state of Lenin, the famous leader of the Soviet Union and predecessor of Stalin.

 

 

Conference interpreter during the session in the Congress of Deputies

Since September 2023, as announced by the President of the Congress of Deputies, Francina Armengol, during her first speech minutes after being elected, the Congress of Deputies has been offering an interpretation and transcription service for the co-official languages, for cases in which parliamentarians express themselves in Catalan, Galician or Esukera.

In this regard, we have been able to contribute to the current team of congressional interpreters on two days, the first during the Science, Innovation and Universities Committee held on the 19th of March and the second during the Constitutional Committee during the Appearance of the Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, held on the 20th  of March, as well as the respective replies of the parliamentarians.

It was a pleasure to be part of this experience for the first time and we look forward to many more occasions!

Happy to accompany the four new FC Barcelona Baloncesto signings during the press conference held at FC Barcelona Baloncesto, with Sertac Sanli, Rokas Jokubaitis, Nico Laprovittola and Nigel Hayes.

All of them have been working and playing with the team for several weeks, both preseason and Lliga Catalana and Supercopa, but it has not been until today when they have been officially presented.
